Established in December 2002, the Shanghai Stone Industry Association is a non-profit, cross-sectoral, cross-ownership, non-profit social group legal person voluntarily formed by enterprises and institutions of Shanghai Stone Processing, Trade, Engineering, Stone Maintenance, Stone Machinery and Tools, Stone Landscaping and Sculpture, Artificial Stone Industry. The association consists of four professional committees, namely, stone maintenance, stone landscape and sculpture, artificial stone, stone machinery and tools, and Shanghai Oriental Stone Research Institute.
The AIA is a US-based professional organization that exists to protect and serve architects and design professionals, monitor legislative issues that impact the public and the profession and recognize and promote excellence in architectural design, technology and design-related issues.
