Each has its own budget and lifestyle. Today, I will take you to take a look at the several floor covering materials commonly used in the industry to see which one is best for you.
Glazed tiles
Common antique bricks and wood grain bricks are essentially glazed bricks.
Advantages: There are very colorful patterns to choose from, and you can choose between light and matte surfaces, and the slip resistance is also good. When using floor heating, the thermal conductivity is higher than that of wooden floors, which makes it easier to heat the entire room. The texture of woodgrain bricks is now comparable to laminate flooring.
Disadvantages: Paving is more troublesome. After replacement, it needs to be completely demolished and cannot be reused. The feet feel too cold and hard. Children cannot sit on the floor tiles and play. The elderly are more dangerous when they fall.
Take care: The shiny floor tiles are easy to be dirty and need to be cleaned in time.
Marble tiles
Advantages: superior performance, environmental protection. The decoration is strong and the selection is rich.
Disadvantages: The price is relatively expensive and requires regular polishing.
Care: easy to seep and seep, difficult to take care of.
Slab tiles
Advantages: The decoration effect is concise and atmospheric, leaving few seams. Avoid hiding dirt and dirt. Cutting free specifications are abundant, and the application range is wider.
Disadvantages: expensive and high paving requirements.
Take care: Convenient care.
Polished tiles
Advantages: low price, very bright surface, low water absorption, no need to soak water in advance during construction, can be directly applied, high thermal conductivity when using floor heating.
Disadvantages: limited by craftsmanship, the pattern is not rich. Too much light effect, low slip resistance. Not recommended for installation in kitchens and bathrooms.
Care: The shiny surface is easy to be dirty and needs to be kept clean.
Cement tile
Advantages: rich in color, more intense than the pattern printed on tiles, very retro.
Disadvantages: All handmade, higher prices. High water absorption and easy bleeding, not as easy to clean as tiles.
Care: The special protective wax needs to be applied once a year for the first three years after installation. After three years, the protective wax penetrates into the cement to form a protective layer, and can be used like ordinary tiles.
SPC floor
Advantages: Extremely environmentally friendly, 0 glue 0 formaldehyde, easy installation with lock type. Extremely wear-resistant, elastic feet feel good resistance to scratch and slide. Flame retardant and moisture resistant.
Disadvantages: The texture of the wood grain is not natural enough. If you look closely, the texture of the natural wood flooring is poor, which affects the appearance. There is no big advantage over composite solid wood in price, so people are more willing to buy composite flooring.
Take care: Feel free to take care.
Laminate flooring
Advantages: cheap and easy to install. Laminated flooring, like other floorings, has the difference between low price and high price, but laminate flooring is especially because low price can be especially cheap and installation is fast.
Disadvantages: high formaldehyde content, poor foot feel, easy deformation, and poor decorative effect.
Take care: There is no problem in wearing shoes and walking on it, and it is also suitable for installation in kitchens and independent bathrooms without showers.
Pure solid wood floor
Pros: Made from a whole piece of wood, more environmentally friendly without gluing. The sound insulation performance is better than cement and tile. It has the effect of adjusting the indoor humidity and temperature to a certain extent. When used reasonably, the life will be longer.
Disadvantages: The price of solid wood flooring is relatively high, the wear resistance is relatively low, it is not resistant to bumps, and the moisture resistance is not as good as the composite floor and tile.
Care: need waxing treatment to maintain the gloss and beauty of the floor. Furniture should not be towed on the floor. Losing a heavy object by mistake could smash the floor into a small pit.
Parquet
Advantages: Combines the advantages of pure solid wood flooring, reduces the price, and the design of the buckle also reduces the requirements on construction. Staggered wood is pasted in layers for better stability and more suitable for floor heating.
Disadvantages: For low-priced products, glue can affect environmental protection, especially when floor heating is turned on.
Take care: Same as pure solid wood floor.
